Jim Walton is a son of Sam Walton and Helen Robson Walton. He was born in Newport, Arkansas born on 1948 however, the exact month and date has been kept confidential. He is the youngest son of Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart. He graduated on 1971 with a degree in Marketing in the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Silent as he is, he rarely entertains interviews with the press. He only dated his only love and wife Lynne to whom he had 4 children, namely Alice Anne Walton, Thomas Layton Walton, Stewart Lawrence Walton.
Jim is the Walton family’s Banker. He is often on the phone talking to big personalities of the state and the country. He is the private side of the Walton Family. He manages the Walton Enterprise which has a $90 Billion Wal-Mart stock. All of the Walton’s businesses are in one old brick building. The inside of Arvest Bank is the Wal-Mart version of a bank.

His father, Sam Walton, also bought the Benton County Daily Record, which is under the Community Publisher that Jim manages. This move has protected the family from unwanted press that may be released by competitors. Jim now owns 97% of the Community Publishers and the rest goes to the employees. Community Publishers has bought Times against Stephen’s clan, who also control another local paper in the region.
An individual who works at Wal-Mart is likely to have a Wal-Mart stock and saves and has mortgage at Jim Walton’s Arvest bank. He may get the daily news from the Benton County Daily Record and may also have enrolled in the Walton Arts Center. The Walton

Jim Walton, at age 56, is the 11th richest person in the world in 2009 according to Forbes. Although he is the Walton that stays at home, he is the chairman of the board and CEO of Arvest Bank which has an estimated net worth of US$20.7 Billion. Arvest Bank Group Inc. is a group of banks in 91 communities in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. He joined Wal-Mart for four years from 1971 to 1975 and worked on the real estate area. As he left Wal-Mart in 1975, he joined the family’s business, Walton Enterprises. He is also the chairman and a member of the board of Community Publishers Inc.
