Lakshmi Mittal born on June 15, 2025 at Sadulpur; in Churu district of Rajasthan. He has grownup at Rajasthan itself but he has done his graduation from Kolkata. He is the world’s largest steel maker and the third richest person in the World.

Mittal has become a cult figure in the global steel industries. His company is the largest steel maker company in the world. After merging the Mittal Steel and Arcelor it has given big debate through out Europe. He has current controls 10% of total steel production.

Mittal was from the poor family and they was living at Rajasthan. Twenty members of family lived on bare concrete floors, and they use to sleep in the rope beds and cooked on the open fire. Lakshmi Mittal is from the Marwari Agrawal caste. His grandfather has worked for the Tarachand Ghansyam Das form which was one of the leading Marwari industrial firms.

Later his family has moved to Kolkotta, where his father Mohan Mittal has became a partner in Still company. Lakshmi MIttal has done his graduation from St. Xaviers in Kolkotta itself in Commerce discipline in year of 1976. He has started his carrier in his family business of steelmaking in India. In the year of 1976, Lakshmi Mittal has founded Mittal Steel Company. He has split from his father and his two younger brothers I year 1994 and he has taken his firm as international arm. He has started his with the interests in Indonesia and Trinidad and Tobago. Rest of his family kept his family business at India itself. In the last few years Lakshmi Mittal has started buying up a network of steel producers in former communist countries like Kazakhstan, Romania and Ukraine. He has also pushed into US in year 2004 with the $4.5billion purchase of International Steel Group. Today, only the Mittal Steel is only the truly global steel producers in the world with the operations of in 14 countries, spanning 4 continents.

In the year 2003, he has bought the world’s most expensive house. He has bought it from Formula one racing’s Bernie Ecclestone’s which has cost it £70 million which is $128 million. For his daughter Vanisha’s marriage he has spent $50 million which was the world most expensive marriage in the 20th century.

Lakshmi Mittal was listed the world third richest person in the world after the Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in the March 2006 by Forbes Magazine.
